With t-slot accessories there will be no such problem. However what this does mean is that if I have a roof box installed (or any other attachment which wraps around the bars I will not be able to open the roof more than a crack. It does not touch at all when it is closing, nor does it touch the rear bar. I have the folding fabric roof and because they are lower profile than the LR cross bars one fold of the fabric just barely brushes the front cross bar when the roof is opening. I absolutely love the way it looks in all black with my black contract roof. I just installed this exact setup yesterday. Have any pictures of your setup? I’d be interested in doing the same, especially if it’s a little lower profile.

As important, I am experiencing almost no wind noise.

I did mine in all black to match the roof (see pic) and it looks much better (and lower profile) than the OEM dealer option. Below is what you need which I was able to find at online stores or on Ebay.
